Is this rifle more accurate than that rifle? A lot of variables. Maybe Harv can way in on the M14? The AR10 exists because the platform works and modularity is useful.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The M14 has it’s uses but there are reasons we now have AR-10's. You think the AR10 is more accurate than an M14?  Absolutely no reason to think that.  The AR10 exists because plastic is popular.
