I haven't put much time into grouping mine, more just consummating the marriage, as it were. I have shot a lot of M1917s, which of course are the same rifle in a different chambering, and I've fired my personal best group ever with a military surplus rifle with an M17. Shooting the P14 for groups is something I should put on my list of things to do.
I have not fired my "new" Lee-Enfield No.4Mk.2, which might be an interesting comparison. Not quite a period comparison however, as the Lee was built forty years later, and is essentially new. Guess I could compare it to one of my older No.4Mk1s. I no longer own a No1., which would be a fair comparison, date-wise. |
