I have a Taurus SS 38 with a 2" barrel, duplicate of the S&W Md 36. Excellent quality for about half the cost, I highly recommend it. It's also available in a mat blue if you don't like stainless.
I use 125 grain +P, it's fine with +P, not excessive recoil. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I’m thinking about getting a small inexpensive revolver. Considering 9mm so I don’t have to buy .38's. Not at all interested in .357. I’d like a 3" barrel. I’m not a big Taurus fan but have seen some very positive reviews of their revolvers, lately. As well as some negative S&W reviews. What am I gaining or losing going 9mm instead of .38? Yeah, I know I’ll need moon clips for 9mm. I don’t see that as a problem, is it? What says the hive? |
