To me? No. I'd happily hunt elk with my 270 win. Obviously not the best choice but it would work.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Is the recoil and muzzle blast not to mention the extra $$$ the Weatherby cost worth the extra 200FPS?  Not to this hunter it isn't.
