Here's a video with the 5.7mm vs the late Paul Harrell's "meat target". it 's a bit long, and delves into the pistol more than I'd like, but the results of the ammunition are there.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: If I recall right, when first introduced the 5.7's claim to fame was that you could put a lot of rounds into an attacker - high capacity rather than individual round effectiveness. Also the small diameter paired with steel core military ammo could defeat body armor. Maybe good for some military purposes but I don't really see that for civilian defense. Stu |
