The wipes are not as goopy as you would think. The oily stuff is fairly light, and washed off my hands easily.

I can't help myself though - I like handy gadgets and the wipes are cool IMO. I field strip the gun, wipe it out and coat everything. Then I wipe down the outside, and finally wipe off excess lube with an old t shirt (so it isn't slippery). It is quick and handy, and makes me feel better because I am taking care of my duty pistol.
