So that tells me that weight and height are indeed considered but that they aren't really very restrictive. Anyone between 5'4" and 6'4" weighing less than 235 fits the requirements and some outside those constraints could be considered for certain jobs!
Of course I'm almost 100# over the limit but I didn't want to be a naval aviator anyway. Thanks, Dale - you've answered a long-standing question in my mind. Stu |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I believe that the maximum height for a Navy pilot around 1970 was 6' 3". One reason that I remember that is that I was about 6' 2 ½ so I barely fit the requirement (so to speak.) I did a bit of searching online and it looks like some things may have changed a bit. Check this out. |
