Slant brake?

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I'm fairly old school myself, though I have modern weapons for self-defense. But my "old school" approach became obvious to me when my son and I bought identical weapons not long ago. They are "semi-modern" military rifles--semi-automatic versions of late 1950's assault rifles. My son lost no time replacing the simple slant brake with something bigger, longer, and meaner looking. He's talking about some kind of rail so he can install modern optics and maybe other doo-dads. He wants to buy some higher than standard capacity magazines. In the meantime I have made no changes to mine, and am happy with the 1950s-era open sights and simply accouterments. Different strokes for sure. |
