Hi Dale,
The NEGC would get the job done but is a little bulky. This Talley sight was more like what I made. My peep sight was just the front part of the Talley sight that would slide into a dovetail in the Warne base. Sorry I don't have a picture of it. Frank Talley Peep Sight. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thanks Frank. These days the scopes are so reliable that there hardly seems a need for a backup aperture sight, but I can still imagine circumstances where it could come in handy. I did a little research and Brockman makes a flip up rear sight. Not quite as handy as a flip up sight, but less expensive. NEGC makes an aperture sight which will fit on a Weaver base. They also make a similar sight to fit the Ruger built-in bases. |
