Hi Dale,
Here is a picture of the Redfield Peep sight on a Talley base. The gunsmith had to modify the Talley base with a plate to mount the Peep to. The Peep did not come with the large plate that the Peep is screwed to. In the bottom photo you can see there is a vertical/horz adjustment provided by the slotted screw holes. Frank

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thanks for that info Frank. I just thought that was a very cool setup. If the scope went bad just remove the scope and flip up the aperture. I assume that setup is no longer available? |
