That was a neat little peep sight I made for that 358W. It was made for a Warne Quick Detach mount. I order a ring base that was not split built by a fellow that made Warne rings. It had a solid base with the lever system for mounting but no ring for the scope, just a block of steel. I squared it up and cut a dovetail for the sight to slide in from the side. The Peep was made with a set screw for windage adjustment. I made the height of the peep based on the height of the front sight. You would have to adjust the front sight blade for fine adjustment. It was an open peep intended for hunting if your scope failed. After I got it all milled and setup it looked just like Warne had made it. The customer was really happy with it. Frank |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I really like the idea of a quick detach rear peep like a quick detach scope. Really useful especially for a young guy with good eyes! What am I seeing that looks like a hole in the trigger guard? |
