Hi Dale,
That was Redfield that had the peep screwed into the end of the rear mount on a one piece mount. All you did was remove the scope/rings and flip up the peep. Strictly an emergency sight. Frank |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: At one time someone made a scope base which incorporated a flip-up aperture sight. My Grandfather had one installed on a Winchester Model 70. I thought that was pretty slick, but have no idea who made it.
