For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Much like my tastes as well. The wood carving does coverup a lot of the nice wood grain in the butt, but the rifle does show a lot of classical period German gun making. I could live without the recoil pad, white inlay and spacer as well, but again, part of the times. The metal engraving was extensive, covering the action, trigger guard, floor plate, part of the barrel and the muzzle cap. HGW |
