Yes, these are hard to find because those imports were part of a definitely finite batch. I was thrilled to find mine a few years ago. Though I wish I'd kept the first one I had in the 90s, if not for shooting then for collecting. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I remember picking that up at the Local Shop for $150 or so.... Now, good luck even FINDING one. It was definitely a nice rifle. Easy to shoot, some felt recoil, but the PRVI 7.5 French load that I shot out of it was pretty mild. The forward leaning bolt handle was also nice and the bayonet storage method was pretty cool, making it part of the rifle rather than an afterthought like the Mosin M-44. |
