Walthers will always have collecting followers, and the (H&K) P7 was unique enough to be collectible, but as a tactical/practical pistol, the SIG P6/P225 is the only one I would ever consider today. I don't think I'm alone in that. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Whoops, your fat fingers hit the wrong key -- the P5 was a Walther, and the P6 was the P225. (For lurkers -- I know you know the difference.) We serve and correct. The P7, BTW, has become more of a collectible these days, and I notice on auctions the P5s are getting pricey as well. Harvey |
