I have always wanted a Velo Dog. This one, even in such poor condition, popped up when I found it at a show this weekend.
Merwin and Hulbert are also incredible revolvers. I got to handle one last month at the VGCA show. Who needs CNC... very tight fitting parts. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I think these should be of collector interest as they are a part of history, and I'd hate to see them simply disappear. By the way, one name you mention, Merwin & Hulbert, was quite popular in the Old West, and made very high quality revolvers. Today they are usually quite expensive when you can actually find them. |
