I think those things are more important than caliber, handgun style etc. That is just me.
Handgun style is relatively unimportant as long as shootability is present: Image below from Mark Freburg - Image Title: Shootability Caliber is arguable for reasons that have been mentioned here. If caliber wasn't important people would carry .22s, .25s, .32s, and .380s with no regard for their ineffectiveness when the chips are down. That worries for me for armed citizens as whole. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Good info Allan. Your response and Mark's point out in greater detail the many variables involved in people's choices for self-defense handguns. Things people need to consider when choosing armed self-defense. I think those things are more important than caliber, handgun style etc. That is just me. |
