This forum has always catered especially to those who are new to shooting, and we have always shown respect to new shooters. Just because someone is not a wordsmith doesn't mean they cannot be a safe and successful shooter.
Not my intent at all and certainly not meant as an insult to new shooters. My point was just that semantic differences pale before the simple mechanics - the trigger only moves one way! My apologies if that tongue-in-cheek comment was seen in the wrong way. Stu |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Your reference back to Middle English shows that, if anything, you are out of touch with modern communication. Kidding, I understand it was a reply to Allan specifically because he was attempting to you give you, Word Cop Stu, an etymology lesson, which we just don't do around here... But kidding aside, I can't condone this: If a student is too dumb to figure that out maybe he should take up something simpler than shooting, like maybe whack-a-mole?
