For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I think it's pretty simple, if you are speaking English. When you press something you move it away from you, whether it's a door bell button, a computer key, or even a barbell with weights attached. When you pull something you move it toward you. When I shoot, I move the trigger toward me. So, the only time you'd press a trigger away from you would be when committing suicide...or when trying to further wound the language.  Our language already has enough contradictions, thank you very much...
