I bought one of these pistols about two months ago and I am very pleaded with it. I have put 550 rounds of CCI Mini Mags through it without a single problem including rounds that failed to fire. I can't shoot tight groups with it but it is great for plinking and fun to shoot. But to be completely honest, my groups have opened up with my target pistols. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Everyone: This pistol had a magazine disconnector built into the mainspring housing. I removed it from my own pistol as I believe it to be superfluous. It now works perfectly without said mag disconnector. No, I don't need it as a "safety." It is a range toy, nothing more. It is already a Series 80 design and I am somewhat experienced with 1911 pistols, so I find it quite safe without this moderately annoying feature. By the way, I was able to get several extra magazines in SIG-SAUER packaging when my son's store had an overstock sale. (As noted before the SIG .22 is simply a GSG with SIG markings, so the magazines are obviously identical). I must have at least six for it now. This is a nice pistol.
