The DMRs previously built on the M14/M21/M25 chassis used a similar mount, TTBOMK. One specific mount, thought to be a very good one was the Brookfield Precision Tool Advanced Scope Mounting System (ASMS). It was similar to the original USGI M14 mount in concept, but was much improved in a design that added stability.
Of course DMRs have more recently been built on M16 or SR25 chassis, and the Army is now moving to the G28, a scaled up H&K 416 in 7.62 NATO. Harvey |
