Yep, disappointing for sure. It was on the inexpensive side for a 6” gun to begin with. Something like $670...Should have been a tip off. What got me looking at any (new) Kimber at all was the fact that my nephew had just bought a “Shot Show Special” model. A Government model with fixed combat sights, for $530 and it was a sweet shooter! Other than that, I haven’t heard too many good things said about Kimber pistols produced in the past 10 years or so. Yikes, there seems to be a common theme going on, about newer production guns, being less than stellar. But then again, I have been called a pessimist, for about the same timeframe...lol! | ||||||
