The Argus 94 is a little different from all the others as the external appearance differs the most from the original FN product. The others are mostly true copies.
So, any comments on the likelihood that a larger clone market for Hi-Powera will ever appear, along the lines if not the scope of the 1911 clone market? BTW, I certainly wasn't criticizing your personal use of the term "BHP." Just pointing out that it only applied to one pistol. And yes of course that's the pistol you own. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I call mine either BHP or Browning Hi-Power since it is a Hi-Power and is stamped with the Browning name and address. It was made in Belgium. If someone is looking for a used clone, there are several available at Sarco. (Kareen and FEG at reasonable prices.) Arcus 94 is also a clone, and can be found new as well as used. IIRC, they are still made in Bulgaria, although I don't think they are still imported into the US. Harvey |
