VERY unusual.....I'd say that I was probably the only one to use the Ackley chambering when I was shooting. Most of the 22 caliber shooters were using the AR with heavy 80+grain bullets out to 1000 yards. The Ackley version wasn't better then the standard 22/250 because the 80 gr JLK-VLD bullet jacket was limited to 3200 FPS. Dunno how the present match bullet thickness.
