So you have a semi-jacketed load, that's definitely better than an FMJ. The only downside is the 240gr weight, where something heavier would be better for larger animals. I think it is probably fine for an eastern bear, however. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The 240 grain is not a FMJ, the front of the round is exposed lead, flat, no hollow point so it will expand. Buffalo Bore would be my first choice for a hard lead round, they have a reputation for stopping power, wonder if there is any for sale in these crazy times? |
