The Random HAS no single action safety. The top lever is a decocker lever and the second one below that is a takedown lever. It DOES have a grip safety. The pistol was designed to be drawn and cocked with one hand while riding a horse and meant to be cocked by using the leg to leverage the hammer back. It is my favorite WWII pistol. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: TJ, can I assume that the various levers on the Radom function the same as the 1911 levers in similar positions? If so, what is that lever on the rear of the Radom's slide?
