Thanks, TJ. From what Mark showed me and the video I found (see my reply to Mark), it appears that the take-down lever's sole function is to latch the slide in the proper location to allow the guide rod and slide stop to be removed; then the slide can be removed and disassembled in typical (mostly) fashion. Is that right?

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where:

The top lever is the decocker.
The second lever below is the takedown lever. The slide stop still works as a slide stop. That's a Grade 2 Radom there, early German production.
