For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: You're saying that the lever which would be the thumb safety on a Colt is actually a take-down lever?  Interesting...  Does the slide release still function as a take-down of sorts by retaining the barrel link as on a Colt? Thanks, TJ.  The Radom is more of a departure from the 1911 than I realized! Stu
