You and Allan are both right, no disagreement here. And I have two 9mm 1911s myself (and two .38 Super 1911s). Just still strikes me as strange.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I read recently that 9mm 1911s now outsell .45ACP 1911s. I'm not totally surprised, and you know I have been a fan of the 9mmP in 1911s (as well as .38 Super). The cost of .45acp ammunition, and the FBI's and LEO return to the 9mm round have played roles in this IMO. Harvey |
