Colt collectors have, in my opinion, overtaken Winchester collectors for the craziest collectors on the planet for they pay for vintage Colt firearms. If I had only known 35-40 years ago, even 25-30 years ago, what Colts would be selling for now, I would have done my best to acquire a couple I really wanted, such as a Colt Diamondback .38. And I would have never sold my old Army Special:
