For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: in combat he who lays on the auto fire dosen't live long Marines often issued BARs to "feather merchants" (small guys) who theoretically made smaller targets. Did the Army do the same? I guess with the introduction of select fire weapons to everyone these days, it doesn't matter much, eh? Harvey |
