What did you think of it? I know you thought that adding a BAR magazine to a modified M1 would have made a good weapon. Did the M14 live up to your expectations as the next USGI battle rifle? (I thought I had answered this message before but something happened and I think it disappeared.) Harvey |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: no we were still m-1 we did not get the f=m or the snl for the m i4 we had no training for what was to come, butttt there was a rack at aberdeen with a top secret sign on it. course this was for civilans we took one down to the class room and proceeded to deatil strip the thing. got cauht by the cwo in charge of the school. he dang near had a heat attack |
