Mine was also a .35 Remington with a 1.5-4x Bushnell scope in a tip-over mount. Bought the gun used in the late '60s for the equivalent of $35 in a three-way deal (added the scope later).

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Had one back in the 70's in 35 Remington with a 4X scope in "see through" mounts but I sold it to a friend, one of the dumbest deals I ever made, wish I had it back today.
