During my service in the Air Force we were not provided any hearing protection when on the flight line.  As a result my hearing is shot, thank God the VA provides me with hearing aids.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Seems legitimate. Loud noises are hard on the ears. I have some hearing loss. The Air Force, firearms instructing and riot control. Not to mention a lifetime of recreational shooting. Yeah, I used hearing protection but it’s all cumulative.
