Good example. I was thinking "Classic Coke." Marlin had some pretty good QA up until a few years ago. I bought new a Marlin 1894 Cowboy for CAS and was quite happy to see that the fit and finish was comparable to the fit and finish on an original Marlin 1893 rifle.
If they've lost that level of QA they'll lose a LOT of sales and once the word is out they'll have a terrible time trying to rebuild the customer base. Maybe they should ask Winchester? |
