Hi Harvey,
I was a member of the Hell's Angels 303 Bomb Group Association until it was disbanded because so few of them were left. Then I got the CD. It is so comprehensive it even gives the assigned position of dad's plane on every mission. It also reported that Old Black Magic crash landed during a mission after dad left. The association used to send out newsletters with stories (neat bits of history) about missions and experiences around the field, all written by the guys who were there. Allan |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Allan: I may have asked you this before, but have you seen the CD "The Molesworth Story", produced by the 303rd Bomb Group Association? It has many/most of the Mission Reports flown by the 303rd. I picked it up years ago because my cousin was a Navigator in the 360th Bombardment Squadron, on Thumper Again and Shangri-La Lil. It was through this CD that I found the son of the tail gunner on Shangri-La Lil, who sent me the photos of the crash site of that B17 in France. He got those photos from the French Government Archives who I suppose "liberated" them from the Germans after they left France. Harvey |
