Glad you have the CD. It is a wonderful compilation of very interesting facts and figures and must have been a labor of love.
My cousin didn't talk much about his experiences for many years, but I did spend some time with him at a family party and he did tell me quite a bit at that time. Unfortunately, he died not long after. He didn't tell me that his crew participated in the first raid on the Schweinfurt ball bearing factories. I learned of this on the Molesworth CD. Harvey |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Harvey, I was a member of the Hell's Angels 303 Bomb Group Association until it was disbanded because so few of them were left. Then I got the CD. It is so comprehensive it even gives the assigned position of dad's plane on every mission. It also reported that Old Black Magic crash landed during a mission after dad left. The association used to send out newsletters with stories (neat bits of history) about missions and experiences around the field, all written by the guys who were there. Allan |
