You note something important here, however, all the parts have to work together, and the nicest legs in the world and a so-so face make for no interest on my part. It's the face that is MOST important and the face that keeps everything else in perspective. To that end I'm not a fan of Cyd Charisse--not terribly attractive to my eye, never liked her hairstyle either--though she had the misfortune to be born int an era where women's hairstyles were among the worst, the 50s and 60s. Great dancer, sure, but so was Fred Astaire. That's not enough. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: For starters, let me admit unashamedly that I am indeed a chest man! From A to D, I appreciate them all although my appreciation does tend to correlate somewhat with size. That doesn't mean I'm immune to the charm of other parts, though; as the old saying goes, "Parts is parts!" Betty Grable does indeed have nice legs. If they are heads and shoulders above other famous legs (pun intended) would be a job for a leg specialist to determine and I see that you have stepped up to that role here. I think we agree, though, that hype does have a lot to do with forming opinions. Speaking of legs, I always thought Cyd Charisse had a spectacular pair and used them well! Stu |
