Not really. I just have an unknown reason to be biased when it comes to "soul less steel". I like blue firearms, the more polished, the better IMO. The maintenance issue with blue steel never bothered me, as I enjoy cleaning and lubing them. I know you have stainless revolvers--at least one still, a Model 65 Smith? Yep, that's my "tackle box" revolver that lives in the trunk of my car year 'round. I don't check it for maintenance very often, other than to make sure it is lubed and to rotate cartridges. It replaced a blue Smith M10 that I sold, and was the only other revolver I have except the M37 "desk gun", so it was the natural candidate for the task. Missouri's law regarding car carry is simple -- anyone not a felon who is over 21 can do so, even without a concealed carry license. (Don't ask!) Harvey |
