Yes.  And Pachmayr actually gave some thought to appearance as well, something I don't think Hogue is nearly as good at.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I think you're right. While I think wood grips are almost always the best looking choice, I've found rubber grips to make a better hand/gun connection while shooting.
