Hogue grips are not beautiful. Cosmetically, they kind of remind me of Frankenstein's shoes...

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Yes.  And Pachmayr actually gave some thought to appearance as well, something I don't think Hogue is nearly as good at.
