I'm familiar with the 1911 Shok Buffs and never used them. Like the PD, the P9S came with a buffer that could be replaced when used up. The buffers for the P9S were plastic, and IIRC, some aftermarket versions were some sort of fiber.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I'm not familiar with the P9S buffer but I know some pistols came with buffers. The Star PD had a buffer that was fibrous, came in the gun. If a pistol comes with a buffer that's one thing, but with 1911s I'm talking an aftermarket product, a different thing altogether, I think. |
