Surprisingly, I quite often see near mint, essentially NIB Star PDs on Gun Broker. While I occasionally see a P9s, I don't recall seeing one NIB. I don't look for Commanders because they are the answer to a question I never asked, but do they exist NIB? Probably yes because so many have been made in the last 80+ years...
ETA: The Commander is the worst of both worlds when it comes to a defensive pistol: Image below from Mark Freburg - Image Title: Barrel length  And for range or competition use it is a very poor choice. There, I said it. You know where to send hate mail--same place you Python lovers send your hate mail.  Of course, I don't care. This is a free country and not everyone has to like what you like.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: While I like both the PD and the P9S, I wouldn't buy one today unless it was NIB and came with more than 2 magazines. I know, wishful thinking, eh? 
I would, however, consider buying another 9mm Lightweight Commander, even if it was used. Harvey |
