3 inch variants are out there but harder to find. The best bet IMHO are going to be the LCR X models since those can be found in 3 inch configurations.
Model 36 and 60 Smith J frames are out there but they are spendy in comparison. With .38 SPL, you will want the extra barrel length for better velocity and sight radius. It's a good barrel length. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Smith and Wesson 940 Steel J-Frame. Expensive and out of production. Problems I had were with sticky extraction and cheap moon clips. The juice is not worth the squeeze as prices are just stupid. This is what I've been seeing. Sad. What are your thought on .38? Preferably a 3" barrel. |
