Not anything I'm ashamed of, though it was fun to joke about years after the fact. There simply were no hideout guns of any power in the old days, and we used what we could get. At the sheriff's academy they recommended a hideout gun and suggested a Beretta .25 like a Jetfire for the front uniform pocket. I couldn't afford one. So I actually carried a Raven for a short time, until I acquired a first generation (.25 caliber) Seecamp LWS-25, a considerably higher quality product. | ||||||
