My guess is the rounds will go BANG when you pull the trigger, maybe somebody else with more knowledge can comment. I have fired military ammo from 1929 and it shot just fine. Be sure to clean the bore after using it as primers could be corrosive. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: My father in law gave me his M1 Carbine , With a like new canvas carrier/case. He said it was his in the army. Aldo a large bunch of full clips. I haven’t fired it at all. My son wants to fire it and I think he wants it. But he lives in Golden Co. Flies down here 2 or 3 times per year. Rounds are not good are they! Just joined and am reading a lot. I am not a collector but just have a few. |
