I can believe it.  They changed out the safeties entirely, changed out rear sights, etc.  Were some of the M1s converted to M2 or were only new carbines mades as M2s?

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: it was a MWO came through and we had to replace any that came our way. there was more mwo's on carbine than any other gun.
