It was 1000 inches, at least at Lackland. The only guy in my flight that qualified as Expert had loaded the mag with bullet facing backwards, Most of the more gun savvy troops happily peppered other targets with their bullets. HGW |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thanks, not sure when mine was made but condition is excellent so I'm guessing it didn't see a lot of use? The ones we used to qualify in USAF basic training were as close to a "smoothbore" as you could get. The range, if I remember correctly was 1,000 INCHES and shots were scattered far and wide. |
