We've got all kinds of rules for our indoor range as well-thankfully we have several outdoor ranges, and most of the time the weather doesn't preclude shooting.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I finally switched to copper plated bullets (not jacketed) for my revolvers as I did previously for my semi autos just to make cleaning easier. I would still be using either the hollow-based or double-ended wadcutter bullets in the revolvers but they are forbidden at the indoor range because they punch permanent holes in the backstop, and that's where I prefer to shoot. I have to use round-nosed or round-nosed, flat-pointed bullets because they self-seal their holes as they pass through it. |
