I fully realize that the 9mm revolver is not a thing for most people, and it isn't worth the time or money for manufacturers to bother making the "ideal 9mm revolver." I'm just lucky I was in the right place at the right time to find what *I* most wanted--and it wasn't my first 9mm roundgun. I'd been shopping for years. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Even if excessive free bore doesn't bother one, the unnecessary extra length and weight of a 9mm-chambered revolver that is long enough and heavy enough to handle being chambered for .357 Magnum strikes me personally as ridiculous. As I said, I understand your feelings about this, but I think it's not going to change the minds of the revolver producers. You're fortunate in that your Taurus incorporates what you want in a 9mm revolver, but even that has become a bit of an outlier now. Harvey |
